Step into a Polynesian paradise
Enter an exciting jungle adventure in PortAventura Polynesia. You’ll get a taste of a tropical paradise with exotic flowers and lush gardens recreating the Polynesian islands. There are dangers ahead, however, as you should beware of the rumbling volcano, and prepare yourself for some explosive fun on the Tutuki Splash ride. You’ll also be dazzled by the stunning effects of the thrilling Ice Age: The 4-D Ride. Once you’ve done with all this excitement, you can refuel at any of the restaurants around, which cater to a variety of tastes. To top off all of that, you might want to pick up a souvenir at one of the gift shops.
Yee-Ha! It’s the Wild West
You’ll definitely want to saddle up and prepare to ride into PortAventura Far West to experience what it’s like to be a cowboy in the Old West. Enjoy some classic Stateside dishes from the themed restaurants and watch an old-fashioned can-can show. You’ll need to prepare to get socked, though, as you go whirling through the Grand Canyon Rapids. If you feel particularly brave, you can ride the Stampida roller coaster. Staying at the 4 star Hotel Gold River affords you the opportunity to get even more immersed in the Wild West theme.
Can you tell me how to get to Sesame Street?
Bring your kids along to meet their favourite characters from Sesame Street at SésamoAventura where you can expect to meet Bert, Ernie and the rest of the gang. You can even aboard a tractor and make your way around Elmo’s Farm. Or go on the Pilot Grover ride where you’ll be soaring through the sky. Then come back down to earth on the Magic Fish as you bounce on the water. The Enchanted Garden playground is perfect for the kids right before you enjoy a meal by the giant mushrooms over at Bert’s Kitchen.
Enjoy a fiesta in Mexico
Experience the stunning Mexican themes, complete with lush vegetation and Mayan ruins, as PortAventura México takes you back to ancient Mexico. Mariachi music, authentic mouth-watering cuisine, and more come together to see you immersed in the best of Mexican culture. You can stay at Hotel El Paso and have fast access to the breathtaking attractions, such as Hurakon Condor, the 100-metre freefall ride. At PortAventura México, you could even take a ride with the devil before you board the high-speed train on the El Diablo rollercoaster.
Step back in time to Imperial China
Enter a time machine in PortAventura China as you go back to the time of Imperial China. This part of the park features some magnificent monuments recreated in spectacular fashion in this widely themed area. The mysticism that comes with ancient Chinese fables has influenced the roller coaster rides Shambhala and Dragon Khan. There’s a gentler alternative for the kids in the Children’s Area, which features lots more to keep the little ones amused.
